Dear Parents,

Another Seahawk Ice Hockey season is in the books and once again the team did a great job! We saw the team play strong against the 13^th ranked Division II Rowan Profs in the Raleigh Tournament. We also witnessed another exciting finish for the season as we had 2 hard-fought games against Appalachian State for the division title but came up just short.  As the program continues to grow, the coaches are setting targets that include games against more ranked opponents as well as Division II teams. All this will be easier to achieve with the help of the whole Seahawk Nation.

I have been involved in hockey programs for many years, doing everything from coaching to starting a high school program. For those of you who have done the same, you know it takes more than just a few people to make a program successful off the ice. This is where the UNCW Booster Club can make a difference.

This year, the Booster Club helped to arrange great apparel for the team and its many fans, but as we grow and move forward, we need all the support we can get. Please contact me to let me know your interest and of course, any ideas you have to help with this growth. Together we can make a difference for our sons, daughters, and the Seahawk Nation.
